Angela
Angela Bae is a mother of two girls and has been married for 18 years. Her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Cornell University, Associate Degree in Fashion Design from Parsons and 10+ year background in communications/PR, marketing and product development for companies such as IKEA, Vitra and Maharam have informed the logistic and design processes that she brings to projects.
Angela strongly believes in using her skills and network to serve her community and other female entrepreneurs through volunteerism, mentorship and partnerships. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Zimele USA, a non-profit that seeks to confront poverty in rural South Africa by empowering women with financial literacy and small business skills, and as an Elder at Metro Community Church. In 2022, she was appointed by Governor Murphy to the first New Jersey Asian American & Pacific Islander Commission. where she seeks to contribute her voice to AAPI community issues.
Marie
Marie Lee is a Senior Event Designer at Angi & Co, where she works with both private and corporate clients to oversee the design and production of personal milestones and events. Prior to joining Angi & Co in 2017, Marie held a background in finance marketing for over 10 years and three years of planning experience creating customized events for close friends and acquaintances. Her passion for helping others combined with her professional experience led her to pursue event planning full-time. Outside of Angi & Co, Marie works on creative content and graphic design projects for women-owned small businesses.
Joann
Joann Lee joined Angi & Co in 2021 as an Event Designer, specializing in first birthday, Korean 1st Birthdays / 돌잔치 and bridal/baby showers. Her background includes event production and operations, most recently working in Healthcare Ops and Pop-up clinics. Joann loves to get involved with people on their special milestones and celebrations. She particularly finds joy in DIY’s and finding creative solutions. In her free time, Joann enjoys hosting dinner parties with friends, planning her upcoming wedding and spending time with her two cats, Ana and Mia.
